Aroma and Robust are from the same parents. The mother plant was a variety of Achilles, which was crossed with a male plant ND 2/65/1, which resulted from repeated cross-breeding with English variety Northern Brewer.
Components:
The content of alpha acids in both varieties is 3-5%, and the content of beta-acid is significantly higher. The content of essential oils is higher compared to Backa. By composition of essential oils, Aroma is similar to Achilles, and Robusta is more like Northern Brewer. Varieties do not belong to Farnesian types. The hops characteristics justify their affinity to aromatic type of hops.
